I've been busy with work etc. but lately I've really wanted to start the Deathline back up and as of today I have finally started .. .. again. Anyway here is the studies from today :)

Hey guys,

The past 2 weeks have been kind of weird.  I went away for a week and a bit so I didn't really get much done.  When I got back I tried furiously to finish the Bloodsports Challenge, but in the end I didn't make it.  I'll be using this weekend to just finish a few pieces for my portfolio and then I'll get back to a study a day on Monday.I'll post what I managed to do in these 2 weeks and I'll post the other stuff I'm working on when I finish.

Hey guys,

Here is my entry for the Bloodsport Challenge ( http://crimsonbloodsports.blogspot.co.nz/ ) Had lots of fun, learnt a lot along the way. If anyone notices I did my comps in the anime style of the movie, if I have time later I might render a few of the other comps just for fun since for the challenge anime style wasn't allowed. I'll make it realistic anime though :D Anyway hope you guys enjoy it and please let me know what you think in the comments down below.

With this image I never really went into it thinking it would be anything serious but with a few peoples helpful critiques ( big thanks to Daniel Warren) I think it turned out well.  I'll post the last 2 major changes for it(the last one being the final). Hopefully you guys like it.

Haven't been able to post for a bit. I was away from my computer for about 4 days. Anyway here is what I've done so far. The Gorilla Guardian packaging I did is mostly finish. I'll post the final polished version when I get a chance. The Knight study below took about 1.5 hours.

I've been doing comp sketches all day and evaluating a few things. Trying to upgrade my blog. Anyway I'll be posting my comp sketches with my final Illustration later on. Didn't do to much in the way of study today but here it is.  Also I'll be away for the next 3 days so I probably won't post anything.

Hey guys,

Here is some stuff for today - a scenery study. It took 2 hours. I couldn't find an interesting photo so I decided to do a study from an artist's piece which I really liked. The artist is whit brachna. I'm adding the artist's picture to the post with my version next to it. I changed it so its' not exactly like the artist's work but I tried to get the colours the same.  I also did a 2 hour gorilla study.  And straight after I tried to replicate it from memory. ( for the most part I think I retained most of the information). I added armour in the last 5 minutes just for fun :P
