Day 41 - 44

Hey,

Haven't done much work these past few days. I made a new schedule so hopefully that will help for the next few months.  Also I've been meaning to upload some work process stuff, so I'll do that soon.

Here are some more faces, these actually took quite long for each one. I started with the construction underneath then did a tighter line drawing over. They took about 30 - 40 minutes each which is why I didn't do more today. I was using an expression sheet from one guy and I changed his hair etc cause I wasn't getting his likeness in a lot of them.

Day 40

Hey guys here is some faces I did from imagenation. Was alot of fun but I need to try focus on my line work. Hopefully with a bit more study I can move away from this cartoony way I seem to draw in.

Day 39

Hey guys,

(((( Here are some face studies.  I did them in a few different ways.  I started off most of them with a line drawing, then I added value.  For a few I just did a line drawing, and in 2 of them (I think), I did a line drawing while trying to not take my pencil off the tablet which was fun.  I tried that a few times actually, but I'm only posting the 2 best ones with the others.  There was one which I started off with a silhouette, and then I added blocks of colour. ))))

The above text is copied from my sketchbook (I didn't want to type it out again), so to preserve everyone's sanity, I just bracketed it out for anyone coming from my CGHUB sketchbook.  I had a lot of fun with these today :D

Day 37 & 38

Hey guys, the study for today was a complete failure. I blame lack of sleep or skill :P It was just not working and after 4 hour I decided to call it quits and move on. It was only supposed to be a small 1 hour study but suggesting scale texture proved to be super hard. Hopefully tomorrow study goes better :)

Day 36

Here are some drawings I did over yesterday and today.  I didn't really get through a lot- they're mostly gestures under 5 minutes but I managed to cram in construction and badly done lighting ones as well.  It was actually fun drawing on paper for a change. I added a few zoomed in ones so you can actually see whats going.

Day 35

Here are the studies for today- the leg studies took about 2 and a half hours and the face only took a little less than an hour and a half, which is probably why it's easy to see all the flaws :( But I'm happy with it when I close the reference :D Did a little workout today but had to stop because my shoulder was playing up which is annoying.

Days 31 - 34

Hey guys

here is the final for the swampelder I did, had alot of fun. Finally getting back in the swing of things, hopefully this month is better then last month. Also haven't had much time to do the fitness stuff but I'll be getting back into doing them each morning from tomorrow :D
